Jingle Bells

Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way

Oh what  fun it is to have a NZ holiday, aye!

Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way

Oh what  fun it is to have a NZ holiday, aye!

Hot dogs and ice cream,

It's a kiwi Christmas dream,

We’ll rinse it down with fizzy drink and watch our faces beam!

Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way

Oh what  fun it is to have a NZ holiday, aye!

Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way

Oh what  fun it is to have a NZ holiday, aye!

Swimming in the sea,

My mum’s drinking tea,

Sunscreen on my sunburned nose

And sand between my toes.

Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way

Oh what  fun it is to have a NZ holiday, aye!

Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way

Oh what  fun it is to have a NZ holiday, aye!

  1. Kia Ora Henry,

My name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the Summer Learning Journey.

This activity was fun as you had to use your imagination to come up with lyrics for this classic christmas song.

I really enjoyed reading your lyrics, they related to summer well and i think the sunburned nose lyrics was very funny and relatable because I always have a red nose over summer.I noticed that you had some rhyming words in there like nose and toes, that is a great addition as it makes the song flow better.

What did you find fun or difficult about this activity?

Happy Holidays, Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.
